Thanks for lying to us when you said you were never going to unsunset our stuff we grinded for!

People lie all the time. When you become and adult you’ll realise this on something that’s actually important

I don’t really think it’s a lie… At the time they re-issued their statement, they were telling the truth. They likely had 0 plans to bring back old gear outside of re-issuing. Now, 95% of those guns would not have even average perk sets compared to modern guns and Bungie has re-issued the vast majority of pinnacle weapons. All they have left is to fix Revoker (which will likely be the crucible match reward for TFS) and maybe Hush and that’s it… It’s been 3 1/2 years. People’s perspectives and opinions change.

This guy is absolutely right. Most of you are not old enough to make transactions of 100s of thousands or millions of dollars. The world does not care about you and your feelings and morals. You are a small fish in a big pond with a lot of sharks. Look at this with GJ and his lawsuit. He will never see a dollar of that money. Do not trust anyone and that will save you from a lot of headache.
-
Can still hold people accountable for their actions.

Talk to my attorney

Do not trust anyone and that will save you from a lot of headache.
That was a Bad loan, GJ on his end should have done more Research. If a company is going under, you need to know why before you do a loan or Investment, he should have(If he did) looked at their Books to see how they handle money, like Microsoft did with Bungie, and they saw bungie as a Bad investment. Of which Sony is paying for. This wasnt 1k, or even 5k, thats 100k on the line. Not everyone Lie, not saying people dont, But if we lose the ability to Trust anybody, thats when Shite hits the fan and we are living in the world of Mad Max.
-
I am sorry buddy, but we do not live in a world like that anymore. You sign this prenup or this collateral agreement and then we can talk. You have to protect yourself first especially if you have any type of assets. I agree that it is sad, but this is the world we live in now.

Edited by STiNKyWizLTeaTs: 4/27/2024 6:36:05 PMSony had to because MSFT made a massive move. They didn't have a choice. As far as GJs lawsuit, 100k is not a ton, but he will never see a dollar of that money ever. The attorney fees alone will eat threw every single dollar. 100k is nothing in the legal world as a deposition with a court reporter will cost you about $5000.

Edited by STiNKyWizLTeaTs: 4/27/2024 6:39:00 PMApes together with a $1000 an hour attorney, sure. Go into every business transaction as they are lying and make them prove you wrong. I have worked in IB and finance in Europe and Hong Kong, now in Panama. Make them prove they are not lying.
-
Why are you lying?
-
So expect lying from everybody, gotcha.
-
Pretty much, yes
-
Yep. Take the worst for granted, it’s the best way to protect yourself from disappointment.

When you become and adult you’ll realise this on something that’s actually important
So, you're condoning lying? Are you saying it doesn't matter??
I’m not condoning or defending anything I’m just saying that it happens over a hell of a lot worse things than reversing sunsetting weapons on a game and the original poster will realise that when he grows up. It’s also hilarious watching people lose their -blam!- whenever a game company lies just so they can act outraged over something
-
This is true that people and especially companies will lie, It's how they make money. Glad you're not condoning it, however if you just say "everyone does it" and don't call it out, then your money is wasted. Now, I dunno about you, but I'm not into wasting my money and I'm guessing a lot of others aren't either, that's why they complain. But, if you're happy with the status quo then by all means, have at it.
-
Now, I dunno about you, but I'm not into wasting my money
I’m not either, I’m a bit of a cheap -blam!-, but unlike these people I’m not going to think I’m special because I’m not buying something. Granted where I’m from the expansion is only three and a half hours work but I highly doubt I’ll buy especially as I’ve only used Microsoft Rewards for the last three expansions and that balance is running low
-
I'm not even sure what the cost of the expansion is here in Australia. The price isn't a major concern, if it's worth it and that remains to be seen. I'm not going to just throw money at the screen because I've played for years, it'll have to be damn good for me to buy it. At the end of the day it'll be a personal decision for every player, and that's as it should be, different folks, different strokes and all that.
-
Stop twisting his words. He never said he condones lying, he said it happens often. How can you fail to read that? It’s right there.
-
Who's twisting anything, princess? If you actually learnt to read I was asking a question, also, I believe I was asking the op, so maybe go get offended elsewhere?
-
You are baiting the OP is what you are doing to make it fit your narrative. He never once said he condones anything. Stop baiting him into saying something that he never once said. You are looking for an answer to your question that you are not going to get to fulfill your BS remark. The OP is smart enough to know what you are doing.
-
Another outraged princess that can't read. Try school, it may help with your comprehension issues.
-
Maybe if you could actually read, you’d understand the implications of what they said. All they said was that lying happens often. And when you’re an adult, you’ll see why lying is worse when it happens in something actually important. How, in any way, did he condone lying? How did he say lying was justified in any way? And don’t call me ‘princess’, I’m anything but.
-
You're outraged over a post that wasn't directed at you and obviously can't read, I'd say you're the perfect definition of a princess. Maybe go back to school and learn what a question mark indicates, princess.
-
“People lie all the time. When you’re an adult, you’ll realise this on something actually important.” What question mark? That wasn’t a question, that was a statement.
-
Are you lost?
