How are they defending you if they don't attack the enemies attacking you and if the enemies attacking you aren't focused on the 2 that are supposed to be defending then what's the point?

This is a what if. The 2 you pick will only attack the enemies and not you Those you don't pick will only attack your allies and you. It's basically what we have with the cabal whenever they work with us.
