The shinies are supposed to be rare........attuning won't necessarily improve your odds.
That being said you should have more often than not....drops of the weapon you're attuned to. Sometimes it feels like the attunement doesn't take effect at all.
Just a suggestion. Try turning it off an on again........sounds ridiculous but I did notice a slight difference when I did re attune.

it should at the VERY least make it so the shiny that drops is the weapon you wanted.

At the very least the attunement should give you more of the weapon you're attuned to. Shiny or otherwise.

Edited by Zoidberg: 4/25/2024 5:22:31 AMI have done the old IT trick. I don't want shineys of the others stuff which happens. And tbh I think staying attuned to the same thing seems to hurt your chances. Which would mean the algorithm is designed to make you fail or harder as you stay attuned to a weapon. The more I play this, the more I wish everything was craftable.

Edited by Part Timer: 4/25/2024 5:20:55 AMif that's true, this game is -blam!-. but i too have noticed im not getting the thing i attune to.

The problem with crafting is we'd still be funnelled into rng drops. Ontop of once you've got the crafted variant.....you're not grinding anymore. If you're not grinding......Bungie isn't getting what they wanted.

Usually the weapons I attuned have a pretty good drop rate but since I switched to forbarance I ve only seen 1 drop and have been bombarded with edge transit drops

Yeah I've read about that happening. Bottom lining it all I can think of it Bungie's usual MO.....dropping the ball where it counts the most.
