If Trials matchmaking throws up 3 “strong” players and 3 “weak” players, you should expect 10% of those matches to be guaranteed blowouts (where the 3 “strong” players get placed on the same team). All the other matches in that scenario would still be imbalanced (2 “strong” players + 1 “weak” player vs 1 ”strong” player + 2 “weak” players). If you’re one of the “weak” players, you’d have a 30% chance of getting 2 “strong” teammates and having an easy match. The other 70% would be stacked against you. *Obviously simplified, but hopefully my maths is correct! 🤞
