It might have been a cloudstrider.
Remember that cloudstriders are made with vex tech.
So one of them might have been able to timetravel as well.

That seems a little pushing it. The Vex don't actually time travel, they run simulations of the entire universe.

Witch is strange to me, because outside of the Vault of Glass (Where they were able to time Travel) there is an instance of someone being able to time travel, albeit, with a peculiar method. That being Elsie Bray, the Exo Stranger. Each time she dies, her mind is transported back into a previous state before even the guardian awakened. (Thus how she knew we would be in the cosmodrome upon our first rising, as she had met us in timelines prior, and learned parts of our story) This led to the Black Heart being defeated, which was the first major change in the Timeline, along with us communicating with the Darkness upon Io, another change. Then she decided to get into direct contact with us once again, setting us on the path to use darkness. The final major change.
