Don’t get me wrong, Ikora is an awesome character, but nimbus, you’re joking right? They are nothing like Cayde. Sense of humour why, nimbus is like the child who believes that everything is a joke cause they believe that they are untouchable, since Rohan is the first to die before expiring Cayde was the type of character to read the room, say a joke to cut the tension and actually have a plan, but still understand the seriousness of the situation Story, nimbus I don’t really know much about, but I know this, they were brought out of cryo freeze and made into a strider, went hell and back to become a strider and got given a 10 year clock of life Cayde’s story is a lot more filled out, sad and honestly more redemption then most give credit for he had a family, a life he threw away with gambling and was given the only chance to fix it, joining the Clovis bray’s exp program, he lost it all but tried to remember with a journal, his life sucked pretty much all the way till he became a guardian which was a 50/50 for him, still lost some friends and was made the hunter vanguard due to a lost bet, but we learn in forsaken that… he loved the fact he lost that bet, enjoying his time with Ikora and Zavala, kinda sad when he though that either would try and kill him Comparing the two is night and day, one who was place down cause they should have never had existed, remember it was supposed to be final shape not light fall and one the community loved cause cayde had everything going out for him to be a fan favourite

Cayde was a clown. I was glad that Uldren killed him. I'm sad they're digging his corpse back up for absolutely no reason, except to have [b][i][u]two[/u][/i][/b] cringe "comic relief" characters.

If you think that’s all that cayde was, then you make nimbus look like good comic relief

If you think Cayde was an example of good character development, then you have to think Nimbus was too. "Goofy" clowns with a shoehorned sob story that falls flat on its face. Sagira had a more tragic death, and it wasn't even in game [i]and[/i] she was actually funny.

I can tell you multiple parts of a story that work with Cayde and nimbus failed a lot of because bungie thought that’s why we just liked cayde. But to you he will be nothing but comic relief, so I’m not wasting my time with you, all i need to say is this, cayde worked, because he was more.

Where was Cayde ever more than a clown. We didn't get any serious backstory on him until he died. And then it was only a single post campaign mission. And even that was full of corny jokes and bad, overwrought dialogue.
