The education system is designed to create good, conforming citizens, not thinkers. Public education (at least in America) used to use the Classical Model, but after the change in the 30s, it was changed into more of a programming institution.

Yeah that’s a perfect way of putting it, and as a thinker, it really hurts to see how much we’re truly limited for a system that’s supposed to “push us to our full potential” and the only way we can really do that is through colleges and stuff, but that also takes literally all your money and half the people that want to attend don’t get in. Conclusion: something needs to change, otherwise it’s gonna go downhill fast
