The Friday of the release week is foolish. Gives no one time to prepare for the raid. Even the Friday the week after is too short. Another L from Bungie. We all dont stream the game 24/ 7 like Datto who Bungie loves to help climax.

Legendary Campaign will get you Raid Ready. Bounty Prep will get you your Artifact mods. Grind right now to get the meta weapons. Because of how soon the Day 1 is coming, we will not have the time to define what the meta will be outside of patch notes, so what is meta now will most likely stay meta then. At most, the Legendary Campaign will take about a day to complete. I finished Lightfall in 8 hours, and this is with taking breaks and going in blind. I also soloed it. I could’ve done it in 5-6 hours had I done it with a team, or better yet, not blind.

you lost me with the week after is too short, if you can't do a simple bounty prep/ legendary story is a you problem,
-
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

In all fairness, a member of Datto’s raid group is apparently getting married the day the raid releases. So, unless they intend on finding a substitute, they probably won’t be attempting the Day 1.
-
Gotta give that salty clown a competitive advantage since he lost his raid team from that cheating ban.

Edited by TITANIVM ORCHID: 4/18/2024 11:50:20 PMI do not understand why people are complaining. I really dont. 1. You got the longest season in destiny’s history to bounty prep for artifact leveling when season is out. Level probably wont matter. And fireteam level boost will be active. 2. New subclass is probably gonna be locked for 48 hr challenge like the strand aspects were for crota. So you wont have to stress about your build crafting. 3. Challenge is for 48 hrs. Not 48 days. Once over u can play the game at ur own pace. In fact, participation in the raid challenge is not mandatory so i dont understand why ppl think they cant do whatever they like. 4. Only issue in mind is the errors that we may encounter which they at bungie are definitely aware and ready to fix since they set the date snd ought to be ready for it. 5. This is not the first raid to be released within the first weekend of an expansion/ season. 6. They announced the raid date 2 months in advance.

Wouldn't it be funny if the light level increase was only 30-50?

Raid race is for streamers…mmmmmmmmkay?

Guardian,Archon Of Light
Blade Of The Traveler - old
Bungie wants those twitch views early -
I feel like if after everything we’ve been through you’re still buying TFS, you have forfeited your right to criticise anything.
-
this is why i didn’t pre-order. and have zero interest at this point in purchasing this expansion. feels like a bait and switch. they should have trotted this info out along with or before into the light.
-
The raid will be there when you are ready.
-
Gives no one time to prepare for the raid.
Brother, you had 6 months to prepare
-
its not the end of the world or your life People who don't raid shouldn't have to wait for people to complete the raid just to finish the campaign
-
Remember two weeks ago when everyone was talking about how time gating is evil incarnate?
-
This expansion + raid will likely include everyone more than any expansion ever has. While none of this is 100% confirmed, it’s likely. Them releasing the raid that early to me means it’s going to be integral to the story for TFS. Meaning, the raid will either unlock the final mission upon worlds first completion of the raid OR that 12-player activity where guardians team up and get the final kill on the witness is unlocked upon world’s first completion of the raid. (This is more likely, in today’s TWID, demonstrated a 12-player roster). In my opinion, it would suck so much more if we had to wait a week and half to finish out the story, if what I said above doesn’t actually happen. Contest will likely be at least 48hrs as well. That’s just my take on it though.

1 step forward and 5 back bumgie never learns lightfall 2.0 incoming

Am I tripping or do we have to go through this every raid release. Bungie sets the raid release up like this, the community voices their concerns, and they change it to a 48hr Saturday release a few weeks after the launch. Either Bungie isn’t learning from their mistakes or they’re purposely trying to cause drama in their community only to correct it later. Is this incompetence or malice??

Lol, here comes the babies blaming everything on content creators.
