I am having a similar issue except for me, I played the opening mission and completed Week 1 when the season launched. I am now trying to finish it, but cannot find the Bladed Path quest anywhere: not in the quests tab, not in the kiosk, and not at the postmaster. Any help from Bungie support would be appreciated.

Same issue here. Also cannot start season of the wish on alt classes.

I just fixed this on my alt. Progress the season of the wish quest to the point of it wanting you to do a Riven’s Lair. Once you get that far return to orbit and a new milestone will be added to complete Way of the Witch, and the placeholder will turn into the Way of the Witch mission.
