Joined Competitive Match In-Progress (halfway done, 47-0), 3 vs 1 (me), Lost, AND Lost Over 100 Competitive Rank Points.
What the title says. I finished a competitive match, then loaded into a new competitive match. Upon loading in, my screen was dark for about 20 seconds, but I could still enter menu (showing 4 people in the match). Once I spawned in I could see that there were roughly six minutes remaining in the match, the score was 47-0, and it was 3 vs 1 (me). When I lost this game I also lost rank points, and for the life of me I cannot understand how I (and the single other person who joined my team) didn't qualify for competitive loss protection.

Hey Oak, this is something that has happened over past seasons and in some increments this season as well. I have had this happen sometimes when I have a full fire team and my friend gets kicked for some specific reason, yet I still also did not receive the protection from loss. It is something they are working on, and this game mode just dropped. Also, the only big red flag is joining into an in-progress game if these were not friends or clanmates of yours.
