If I think of my favourite big maps, they have long, straight lanes that crisscross and connect different areas (eg Widow’s Court and Rusted Lands).
Multiplex feels a bit like a jumbled mess. There are lots of areas that feel seperated from each other. I seem to spend more time searching for the enemy, or rejoining my team after spawning in.
Maybe that’s the point — to offer a different experience. Maybe it’s just not to my taste. I’d rather have some variety in the map pool, so I wouldn’t want to lose it entirely.
