Dear Bungie, thank you for providing mid season content. Great idea really. However, after seeing some of the livestreams, watching some vids on it, I’ve come to the conclusion most these weapons are going to be very mid. Here are some of my concerns with this overhyped, about to be dripfed , bejazzled arsenal. Specifically the weapons : Edge Transit is a troll to the playerbase. Oh great it envious AND cascade point togheter with a damage perk? Holy mind blow, now I can do the tedious task of getting a buncha kills, then going into my loadout screen and manually swap to cascade point for those 17 GL rounds I painstakingly farmed and then let me get a kill or a buncha crits to proc Cascade point. omg it’s all coming together, I can visually all the fun I’m going to have. Not. Rather use my autoloading expl light Regnant which is enhanced. Did I mention you can put Envious on it Lunas Howl? Yeah sure, looks amazing on paper except the perk is redesigned so it’ll probably be just a worse hawkmoon or ace of spades. Will probably be fun but not outstanding in any way. Also this weapon will probably drop as one of the last guns somewhere in May, knowing Bungie, when the season is almost over and the solar artifact will be gone. The perk will probably not even be worth it in PvP as it now builds up stacks like Sturm or MkC or Hawkmoon. Instead of you know, 2 head 1 body. You now gotta run around and collect magic bullets. Blast Furnace, had me excited for a split second untill you decided the highlight enemies scope is not the best scope?!?! Hello? Did you play your own game? Good thing I kept a sunset version with that scope The RECLUSE! Yes indeed. Aside from the Furry logo (into the light logo) on all sights when not ads’ing (the recluse is a spider Bungie), Master of Arms seems to be only 15% now? Which is a complete joke as golden Tricorn is exactly that. It used to be 25% and make bodyshots do crit damage, now its just a 15% overall damage bonus and that’s mid at best. Think Frenzy, Tricorn. Let’s talk about that those other 2 “new” perks they showed which are also just Golden Tricorn in a new jacket. Falling Guillotine. A void sword I’ve seen so much I really dont care about anymore. Aside from Vortex Frames still being bad dps, I really don’t care for a sword that’ll still be outperformed massively by Bequest. Nor do I care for another Void weapon with our current Artifact. Nor are the perks much better or desirable over the new Vanguard void sword this season (which can roll with double damage perks) “But omg it has Vorpal AND Whirlwind Blade thats an extra 10%!!!!!11!!!1!!” Yeah? Have fun running out of ammo all the time. The mountaintop is about the only cool thing with the rocket jumping and I wanna try that Lunas on my solar hunter. But thats about it, Maybe try to get a Hammerhead. Why not bring back Kindled Orchid? Or the scout rifle, or just the whole Black Armory Arsenal? I don’t want poopy Recluse with 15% dmg bonus, or Edge Transit OR HUNG JURY OF WHICH WE ALL HAVE 15 godrolls OF. These are just some examples, and we’re all falling for another big marketing stunt. Nostalgia, drip fed back to us except 70% of it is hot garbage. Go craft a Regnant. Hell use your old Guillotine with Relentless/WW. Use an igneous with heal clip incandescent . Sunset blast furnace has optional scopes. Into the Mid, Bungie. Very mid. Your fear of releasing something good is showing, and the last livestream confirmed that with the Australian guy responding to the perk redesigns. As if it’s sooooo important you release not a single weapon that could stand out somehow. Could be decently better. Worth using over Commemoration , or craftable weapons. Well you sure did it again. Hit us hard with the Fomo. Don’t miss out on special versions of these hot garbage guns! I’ll play. But my wallet stays closed
