Bungie wont manually unlink it.
What error are you getting? if it is saying you're unlinking the wrong account then check with Steam to see if you have accidentally created additional accounts under the same email as you could've accidentally linked one of those accounts and you're trying to unlink it via the wrong account.

it gives me an authentication error when trying to authenticate my steam account to unlink it

Edited by viiTactiiCZz: 3/21/2024 6:00:20 PMCouple of things - when you are signing in to authenticate it are you using auto fill/email+password vs typing out account name+password? if you sign out of Bungie.net and attempt to sign in by manually typing out your Steam account name + password are you brought into the Lionz#6756 Bungie account or does it give you the account setup screen? If it gives the account setup screen/logs you into a different Bungie profile then its the wrong account you're trying to use for unlinking and you will need to find the correct one
