Not adepts. The weapons in general. The problem is that even if you are ok at PvP, the chances of getting a weapon roll that you want is abysmal because of how infrequently they drop. Those weapons are reasonably accessible for like the top 10% of PvP players. They’re literally not worth chasing if you’re in the other 90% because you’re more likely to get an endgame exotic than they roll you want on a Trials weapon if you’re in that 90%. It’s just bad reward design. The less accessible a mode’s basic/general loot is to players, the less successful the mode will be. The less it will be generally liked by the player base as a whole. The less it will be played. I’m not good. I stopped playing it because it wasn’t nowhere near rewarding enough for the time investment. Even with this new persistence passage(which doesn’t work right), it’s still not worth it because I don’t even care about adepts. I just want the roll I want on a regular version. I’m trying anyway but this will be the last weekend I attempt Trials again unless something changes. It’s just not enjoyable to dedicate large amounts of time and effort into something and not walk away with a single desired reward. Like I said, it’s just bad reward design.
