As someone who goes flawless multiple times every week, I think its a great idea. 1 adept for any 7 win card is not going to break the game, its going to get more players into the game mode. More people will farm cards and play the game.

I love you for being one of the great pvp players that actually gets that for the mode to thrive you need to help people get into it.

The players who want them are not going to grind god rolls. Adepts are barely better than non-adepts and the players asking for handouts will not be able to tell the difference or use it to their advantage. If a bad player wants the adept then theyll get it and not play on those weeks. Why would they want a better roll if it isnt going to help? Handing out adepts will actually stop those players from coming back, destiny is an MMO looter shooter and both genres are grindy, the grind is the reason people keep playing. No grind = no reason to replay activities = much lower player count = no more game

While there will be an increase it will be short lived. Handing out adepts is not a solution to population when you think about it. Most casuals and bad players who go for those handouts are not going to be grinding god rolls, once they get they adept most will not go for another making it worse overall given the weeks where an adept they have becomes available again will not see them return. Short term solutions are not a help for the mode.

I would counter by saying that the grind isn’t the determining factor. The complete lack of hope is. Players will gladly hop into Competitive or Trials once they’re not being BTFO’d every single match on games 1-5. Sadly, as the population consistently declines due to ability/weapon imbalance, lobby balance, and just general toxicity, the players remaining just get more and more dissolute.

Edited by osiris is rigged: 3/15/2024 1:34:30 PMbe careful dude, it's ENGAME PVP loot, you don't have the right to have access to it too easily (troll) in real life I agree, I go to the lighthouse every weekend, I stop after a pass, and I cultivate the weapon quietly, it's only the guys at 1500 lighthouse who whine about the fact that a non-pvp player can obtain an adept weapon... basically who cares??? It doesn't change the lives of those who are used to going to the lighthouse, on the contrary, it can only motivate the players they love so much to play... but hey :) they have too much ego for that realize this, "no I have a adept weapon I'm too much of a player I don't want the noobs to be adept weapons noooo mercy
