Ppl get tired of constant whining with nothing constructive to add.

From my point of view. Normal, rational people get tired of discussing with angry, aggressive children and leave the place. Then the angry children have an echo chamber around them with little way to encounter an opinion different from theirs. And when one is presented, the pack gather and chase it out of the forums gates.

Fortunately or unfortunately, pvp players tend to develop a taste for annoying ppl who are easily annoyed and don't mind sticking around as particularly whiny ppl usually fit that mold. The different opinions is like poisoned bait. Honestly, the effect the community discussion around pvp can have on ppl is actually rather intriguing as it's a point of almost constant stress in the community. The difference is that destiny has Maintained a couple of these groups
