I think countdown is fun in coordinated 3s. Same with rift.
Anything outside of coordinated teams is aweful.

This is a good point. Maybe some comp modes should just be in trios, and freelance just stays survival? I ended up liking rift in comp after not liking it in IB, but in comp it was playing on duo or trio that turned me around initially. After that I felt better about it even solo though

Rift. Oof. I have yet to be in a coordinated one. Would prolly help if I went in with a fireteam. Randos... nah, they don't work well together. One gets the charge and the other two disappear. Presumably to get kills to clear the path, but alas... The carrier always gets surrounded.

Back when Rfit was in IB- it was a lot of fun as a whole clan. Felt like playing football or soccer. Solos or anything less than a full stack felt terrible. Countdown is the same. 3 stack in full or it just feel aweful to play.
