With the recent pvp changes, Fighting lion is to receive a 20% nerf to its damage, making it unable to kill with 2 close hits. This is isn't necessary as the gun already has a damage falloff depending on how close it explodes and it has a huge skill curve to use. Most players can't use the gun effectively and it's hardly used even now. I understand they thought it would be used due to the special ammo changes but even still it works fine as it is now, it's not op and it still takes skill to use right, even with perfect timing it takes 2 nades to kill and has slow reload. The max damage it does at point blank is 138, and 42 to 68 at farther ranges, this 20% nerf would make it very inconvenient to use and these damage numbers are fine where they are, if the change goes through it would take 3 nades to kill by itself which is just sad. And because it's already hard to use most players wouldn't consider using it over other primary exotics. This nerf is stupid and not needed.

Figuring Lion could use a buff. It should be fully returned to its best state in PvE. Why does the game have to suffer to coddle its awful PvP?
