Xbox series x consistently crashes when playing
As the title says, I have had nothing but game crashes after playing for some time. I have done all of the troubleshooting methods possible going as far as completely factory resetting Xbox. Sometimes the game crashes to the home screen. Sometimes it shuts down the Xbox completely. Based on forum posts, this has been an ongoing issue since the next Gen update. I also see that when directed to Microsoft, they send you back to Bungie. It's the only game doing this to my console. My Xbox isn't overheating and is very well ventilated, is barely 2 years old, yet this has been an ongoing issue. What's up Bungie? When will this be actually addressed?

Update 2: game is still crashing daily for no reason. No error codes given. Game crashes after being on for less than 10 minutes just in a patrol zone or any other time it wants to. It's untenable and I'm not going to be preordering final shape. I refuse to give Bungie another dime till this is properly addressed. It's disturbing to me how many other threads about crashing issues I've seen that go without any mention by Bungie. At this point I'm going to assume that Bungie not only knows about this problem but doesn't care.

1 ReplyAs an update I wanted to clarify after extensive testing on several other highly graphic intensive games, including Cyberpunk, my Xbox plays perfectly fine with no issues. After conferring with several other people and an entire group on FB that is for destiny, this is a very widespread issue that causes Destiny 2 to crash on whatever it's played on. This includes PC. What's up Bungie? I'd love to get some acknowledgement of this very serious issue. I refuse to spend 100 bucks for the next year's expansion until this is addressed..why would I spend even more of my money than I already did the last 2 months if I can barely play the game without it crashing or shutting off my console?
