It’s not difficult to get golf balls.
You can even buy them from Rahool.
Season pass and vendor rank resets.
Coil.
Fishing.
End game activities.
I use mine all the time and when I need them it’s easy to farm them.

You're making assumptions and not reading and it's getting tiring. Acquisition isn't the issue. Bonuses on par with cost is the issue.

Their value corresponds with theirs availability. Master working armor is a smart move with creating extra room on armor for powerful mods. Honestly most activities can be completed with blues in the game. With that says those gold borders look pretty, pretty good.

Uh huh and it would be even MORE worth it if the benefits were reflected in the cost. You could make that "you can do X with X easily" but the fact remains that Destiny is looter shooter with a focus on itemization, builds, and valuable loot with valuable bonuses.

Exotics costing 3 providing no additional benefits compared to legendaries costing 1 is a fact. It's not a matter of being wrong. Why are you being argumentative against a change that would benefit you? What do you seek to gain here? Are you that narcissistic and stubborn that you see a post only as something to challenge and not benefit the game and its players? I'm aware they are designed to be used and I'm not holding onto them. It's a looter shooter. The loot should always provide benefits on par with its rarity. You are only allowed to equip one Exotic armor. It costs 3 to max out. Therefore, more stat gains would be fair. If not, then it doesn't benefit the game or players for them to cost 3 because since they're easy to get, you'll be masterworking them all and will sit at max shards anyway and the cost would have still made no sense.

That’s what I stand to gain. Correcting your fundamental misunderstanding of how armor works. The mats are easily attainable so no it’s not a big deal. Maybe read the other comments telling you the same thing lol. Loud, proud and wrong is no way to go through life.

So it seems you’ve gained this “immunity” to common sense. You continue to dig a deeper hole and look more ridiculous. You have repeatedly stated there’s “no benefits” from master working exotic armor. That statement is completely false seeing everyone knows there are multiple benefits. You also are crying over the mats involved which are easily attained by doing the most basic things in the game. The difference between exotics and legendaries is obvious so the cost is higher. If you used Swarmers or Necrotic Grips on your Strand load out you’d understand there’s a huge difference between exotics and your fully legendary armor load out. With all the time you’ve put into this post and your absurd responses, you could of actually played the game and gotten the resources to masterwork several exotics lol 😂

They’re a common mat these days and most players are swimming in them. Get over it or don’t masterwork your gear.

You obsessively focus on my ability to get shards...yet all my builds are masterworked. The stat boosts from masterworking exotic should be higher if the cost stays the same. That was the goal post. Sht just bounces off your brain. You want to be right so bad that you're willing to play dumb, ignore concepts and ignore that aspect of the post to...do what exactly? Crazy doesn't need a reason or goal I guess. So you can go be someone else's annoyance now 🥱

Exotics give more benefits than legendary gear so they’re considered more powerful lol. Maybe because you don’t use them is why you don’t understand. The cost is reflective to it being more powerful than legendary armor. Also getting shards isn’t difficult. Several offered you suggestions of how to easily obtain them. You wanna cry over something that’s a non issue, go right ahead. But don’t act so surprised when others offer you tissues. Also, when a person resorts to insults they’ve lost the argument.
