Does alchemical dawn actually drop from crucible now? I remember grinding for it in warmind, been rocking it ever since.
Also did the same for zavalas authority. Kinda wished they’d keep the stuff from that early in the game rare tho

I think anything normally obtainable by just, "playing the game", should be made obtainable at some point again. Hopefully the Crucible and Vanguard armor ornaments make a comback like the Iron Banner ornaments did this season. I'm glad you finished it out. Kudos. Would you be less satisfied with that accomplishment if others had to grind a stupid number of strikes now to get it again? Make it a Master Nightfall exclusive drop even. Then obtaining it would be a feat surpassing it's previous accomplishment. You'd have obtained it "the easy way". What would Zavala think about gatekeeping his ship indefinitely? 50 rank-ups was a grind back then, and if I remember right, I was at like, 40 something when the next expansion came out. I agree with the sentiment, some things should remain rare. Especially if they were purchased. But strike rewards? Just my hot take on it.

I didn’t say it like it was that too big of a deal, just had no idea it was included in the old drops for crucible. I just think it’s a good thing to have some items that really show vet status- I had an arc inaugural address from the leviathan for 5 years then out of nowhere they went and changed all y1 weapons with different elements to match their collections, which sucks. They also removed the green and blue year one solstice armor which looked good on its own, too.
