I am constantly being punished for other team members leaving after the first round! I’ve lost countless ranks in the competitive playlist and flawless games because people rage quit. And the problem is there isn’t a way to prevent it.
We need something to happen about quitting in Competitive and Trials. There needs to be recognition for solo players leaving matches throughout the entire match not just the afk boot.
What do you think about if a solo player leaves at anytime, wins=nothing changes, lose the match (no penalty or reduced penalty)? If you are a solo player with a 2 stack and the two stack leaves= same results? Of course this won’t affect those in a 3 stack, but will for those in a 2 stacks that have their solo player leave. Does this seem fair and balanced?

Why hasn’t this game already implemented some type of protection for the other players? Teammate quits match so protection kicks in to allow the other two players to quit with no penalty and the winning team still gets there W. No message saying you quit early. No penalty to your rep. For trials none of your mercy being used. For the player who was the first to quit; well sir/madam you will feel the wrath of the communities pain. More rep loss compared to just losing the match and for trials double the mercy loss. If your at no mercy used now you just lost them all and if your on that 1st loss forgiven; yup, you guessed it; flawed card. Quitting hurts the match and game experience but this should not hurt those who choose not to do so. Protect the more righteous players and slam the burning maul at those who proceed to do wrong. I mean come on Bungie. We all know by now you suck at matchmaking and your map designs and game modes have fallen hard from your glory days of Halo. The least you can do at this point to help us stay sane and engaged is to protect the players from your bad decisions. We are not your employees who have to deal with bad leadership decisions till we find a better job or hope for a miracle in better leadership. No. We are your customers and should be treated accordingly.
