I would expect that a Shrieker counts as a Turret, for the purposes of the effects, despite not being "created" in the same way as an Acolyte's Eye, for example; they can't move and their only ability is to shoot. The same can be said of a Cyclops. Interestingly, these two enemies are also classified as Vehicles.
