have a season that basically revamps the new player experience.. a brand new starting story that is fun to play your ghost flights through the city seeing all the people and fallen as it leaves the city and stubbles upon you far away.. bringing you back you spawn in the wild basically but next to high speed supply train tracks and you climb it to jump onto an oncoming train as its on its way to the last city.. on its way its attacked by some fallen to steal the cargo and you defend it but the fallen boss gets away maybe its taniks when you make it to the city everyone seems busy but you get started and the side story is basically you stop taniks from detonating a nuke inside the last city when you kill him each class gets a new class item from it hunters get a new cloak that looks like shiro 44s, titans get a belt full of ammo mags grenades a guardians helmet and a knife tacticool and warlocks get a robot arm there left arm from the band down is a robot arm the new start also adds in the original spawn gear from D1 plus some new ones if your awoken you spawn in an ancient space suit, human gets the original white gear, exos get a robot security style suit some of the old cool looking blue gear comes back too.. new lights dont have supers or subclasses yet but they do have double jump and respawns there grenades and knifes do kinetic damage and need to be looked from ammo boxes.. new lights unlock their new super after killing taniks and finding a stolen piece of the traveller but as its giving you your power its also shooting through you hitting taniksis body you go to ikora to help focus your power and "find out" (pick) which element you start off with later taniks is shown to get up confused and scurry away (probably to show up later with light powers as a boss) this train system is apart of the fallen helping rebuild.. its also a part of making the last city no longer the last.. the old tower is partially fixed up and the train system leads right to it delivering supplies to and from dont spend time standing around talking to the player.. get then shooting and looting while you talk to them its a nice little campaign to kick start your journey and old players might also wanna try it out to especially for the fashion also irl i think its about time you guys merged some of the items together so you can buy all of it together for a reasonable price this season of rebirth basically adds in a new start that stays also for old players that ability to change your guardians face would be nice saves you having to keep deleting characters but also maybe mor face options like having your helmet invisible during combat showing off that face maybe also beards and new hair styles, face paint and more exo parts/paint its borderline a soft relaunch of the game just before the end to tie things up.
