Seasonal content following the release of Lightfall (ie. Seasons 21 through 24) will remain available in game until the launch of the next major Expansion, Final Shape in June. When Final Shape goes live, content for all four of these Seasons will be removed from the game simultaneously, with the exception of Raids and Dungeons introduced throughout this year (meaning Root of Nightmares, Crota’s End, Ghosts of the Deep and the as yet unnamed Season 24 Dungeon will still be playable after Final Shape). Also, thanks to the addition of the Exotic Mission Rotator, specific [b]self-contained[/b] Exotic Missions introduced throughout the year that otherwise would have been removed in previous years [i]might[/i] be added to the rotator at a later date, meaning the Avalon mission (to obtain Vexcalibur) may be playable at some point after the removal of Season 21’s content. On the flipside, as the Whetstone mission (for the Wicked Implement Exotic) is imbedded with the Season 22 Deep Dove activity, it is unlikely it will be made available through this rotator; players who missed out on the mission will likely have to purchase the weapon directly from the Monument to Lost Light.
