MAKE A SHOOTING RANGE. Not like the Relic's.
A training ground. Programmable targets that can be placed, move, be at crouch height. Slide. Run. Jump. Float.
Make an in-game aim trainer. You already have Hunter clones. Ice Turrets.
Let us place targets in Private Matches so we can practice specific engagements on maps. Even if we play solo.
Make an obstacle course where one has to beat time trials to see their progression with movement. Like a license system in Grand Turismo. Low ceilings for Hunter head bounce training. A ceiling with a deadly laser grid so Titans and Warlock can learn to skate, keeping their jump height low.
This will help all players. Casual and Try Hard. New and old. It can build confidence so people don't feel like they aren't allowed to practice. Especially the ones that think it's too hard to learn Crucible in the Crucible.
What would you guys like to see? How would you refine it? Were there other shooters you played that you like how it was done?

Dude, look at how many years it took them to add what they did🤦♂️ There was no reason whatsoever that they needed to remove the tribute hall, especially seeing how they just throw whatever content in this game and call it good.
-
This would be incredible but will probably never happen as this would require time and effort.
-
Some kind of shooting range that allowed people to work on movements and aiming that they see other people do in pvp would most likely help produce more pvp good vibes. Definitely can't help for pvp to be treated like something people practice at a little more. And if course it would be optional. There are definitely all manner of fairly simple aimed ng brick or color configurations that could help people become accustomed to trigger and aiming control scenarios and even tell them things about moving when shooting or maybe even in lala land some way to call attention to things in matches that aren't happening directly in front of you.

Calus gave us the tribute hall. He became our enemy. He’s friggin dead now. His shadow legion sure as heck isn’t going to celebrate our accomplishments. Besides… the main use for the tribute hall for most players, was to prepare special and heavy ammo before doing something like a nightfall. We didn’t originally spawn in with full heavy and special in legend and above content. Now that we do, it hurts one of the most liked features of the tribute hall, other then then shooting range.

Edited by Maskerader: 11/18/2023 9:58:18 AMWhy the numbers I see in Relic don't align with when I actually shoot the enemies? I tried to compare damage and crit multipliers of different weapon frames, but somehow the results are different in Relic and against enemies. Power level, elements, surges, all of that was evened out for tests. So I'd even take the old Tribute hall without any changes. At least the numbers will be correct there.

I could live with or without a shooting range, the whole game is pretty much that already imo. But I'd like to have a room of trophies back.
-
….definitely would use it. Tribute hall was amazing.
-
I'd rather have this than the stupid seasonal activity they churn out.

This is quite the idea, and I'd wager plenty of people would use it. 👍👍
