Something that is on going is that most of the light 3.0 supers are finally filling out and each light subclass could have 3 options. This great. as I believe options are important, however this is problematic because it creates and enforces the illusion of asymmetry between the classes; however, if you follow the line of evolution this really isn’t the case. So, what I propose is a new organization of the supers for example let’s take Nightstalker, currently nightstalker displays like it has three supers, however two of them are nearly identical conceptually. What I propose is this that shadow shot displays as one super however when you select shadow shot it shows “attunement options” or something similar and you select Deadfall or Morbius quiver from that menu. This will enable each subclass have a more super complexities as it won’t just display slightly variable clones.
Eventually, I think that it would be cool if Bungie did something like when your casting your super depending on your input you can use a different attunement; for example if you’re playing on a Xbox controller when you press LB,RB and A it casts Vortex, but If you press LB,RB and B it’ll cast Cataclysm. Pressing LB and RB again (once fully charged) will recast the last attunement that you used. This system would only operate under a specific super so you couldn’t just use nova warp in this manner because it’s conceptually and thematically different. That way it enables super to capitalize on their attunements by granting more utility of the various supers concepts. My rationale is that this enables supers that only differ very slightly a chance to shine because it allows the player to take advantage of their potential situational advantages by enabling supers that routinely get overlooked because of their more narrow niche.

It sounds as though you're describing something like controller input that differentiates between a regular and a fire Hadouken; a bad example I'm sure but it was the first thing that came to mind.

I could get on board with the second part, but the first part just seems like work for absolutely no reason. You're literally just adding yet another little menu to click through.
