This one will not come to fruition. It's an exotic armor piece either for Titan or Warlock. I haven't decided what part it would be, but it's another Stasis exotic armor. Basically, the armor changes the behavior of Glacier Grenades, but it also has a small second part. Now I have 2 ideas for the first part of this. - The first one is that instead of a horizontal wall of Stasis Crystals spawning, they spawn spanning out in a straight line toward the direction that the grenade was moving. - Alternatively and more creatively, the grenade splits into 5 different Stasis projectiles not long after being thrown that continue the flight pattern but spread out in a diamond pattern. They have a light amount of tracking if they fly towards enemies but are still affected by gravity in a way where they can't just start ascending unless they already have upward momentum. When the projectiles get close to enemies, their tracking deactivates and pure momentum takes over. Any projectile that makes contact with terrain generates a large Stasis Crystal. And any projectile that makes contact with an enemy/entity or an active Stasis Crystal bursts into a light Shatter effect, similar to the Shatters of Stasis Crystals, but maybe slightly stronger. But the Shatters caused this way cannot break active Stasis Crystals (if possible (this is to prevent unbalanced Shatter effects just by throwing grenades)). If the grenade makes contact with terrain before it splits, it uses the default Stasis Crystal spawn behavior instead. The second part of the exotic, regardless of which grenade behavior is used above or even if the Glacier Grenade is equipped or not, is that all Shatters caused by the user now inflict a small amount of Slow to damaged enemies. And unless someone wants to make it where Shattering Frozen enemies or Stasis Crystals in close proximity restores a small amount of health or they just want that idea to be for a separate thing like a Fragment or something, then that's all that I came up with. It's not gonna happen.
