So it's been a long train journey and it's started to get me thinking about our resources in the game now vs what we could expect. As a community we loving paying for stuff that we have had in the past only to have it taken off us and then re put back into the game. With this season being a hive Season. My thinking then thought to what if bungie made a separate remastered DLC of "The dark below." This could then have a similar feel to what the witch queen missions had of having the normal remastered versions of the D1 missions. But for the more intense having the legend versions adding champions and mechanics to give you more loot at the end of the mission. The missions: -------------- - The World's Grave - The Sword of Crota - Chamber of Night - Shrine of Oryx Whilst these are not part of the Dark below DLC Originally they added for a nice catalyst to who Crota was and lead to the three missions that could then be added. - Fist of Crota - Siege of the Warmind - The Wakening All missions can be repayable from a small director added at the bottom of the screen in the symbol of the Hive on the moon much like the witch queen campaign. Crucible Maps -------------- bring back the following: - Pantheon - Skyshock Armour: --------- - Thrallskin Brace (Thrallskin Brace is a pair of Warlock gauntlets ) - Knightbone Guard (Knightbone Guard is a pair of Titan gauntlets ) - Acolyte Rung (Acolyte Rung is a pair of Hunter gauntlets ) Weapons: ---------- - Boomer (Knight Arc special grenade launcher) - Shredder (Semi auto void side arm that tracks to enemies) - Bane of Crota (Exotic Hive Sword and a weapon of sorrow that work with Necrotic Grips) Whilst remastered raids are free to play, having a remastered DLC for £15.99 or $19.99 with the above would add to key moments in destiny that new light guardians haven't played and for return guardians it would give them a small nostalgia trip. There will most probably be a lot of hate for the first remaster being the dark below with some of D1's core missions being added but as these missions take place on the moon and the cosmodrome. Both area's in Destiny 2 now it would be a great use of the resources in the game. Hell even when this launches why not bring back the vex offensive public event on the moon as well as the vex offensive 6 man activity. I believe that this is content that is available if you still have access to a PS3,PS4 or an Xbox 360 or Xbox One. But having these missions remastered in the live service game would be a great experiment to see if this is successful and then the catalyst to re-add more locations into the game and remaster other DLC's or campaign missions.
