I know I'm not the only one who has been looking for an envious assassin and target lock roll on the Neomuna machine gun Circular Logic. Even before the buff to envious assassin I would farm for this roll for hours when lightfall first came out. Now that machine guns are viable options in certain end game content and now that envious assassin has been made to be easier to use, I have continued to farm for this roll in season 22. The problem is this perk combo seemly is impossible to drop. I haven't recorded any data on it but I can pretty much guarantee that I have had every other possible perk combo to drop on circular logic. Right now I've settled for EA/vorpal, EA/hatchling, and pulse monitor/target lock. It's obviously not actually impossible for Circular Logic to never roll with EA/target lock but it seems that way, for six months I have not seen it anywhere. I've tried looking for videos on that specific roll, looked for images of people's rolls, but I still cannot find any proof that this perk combo exists. Other than having several drops that had EA and TL separately, you would start to think that the API is wrong, like one perk or the other is not actually on the weapon. But obviously this is not the case because EA and TL drop on rolls separately. I'm beginning to think that it is somehow deliberately impossible for envious assassin and target lock to roll together. Is anyone else looking for this roll? Have you had one drop or is your experience farming for this impossible roll the same as mine? Maybe this is a bug? Or maybe Bungie deliberately made it so that these two don't drop together, in which case I think we should know if it is impossible so that I and many others may get closure and quit farming for something if it truly is impossible. In all likelihood I just have the worst luck on this one weapon, and if that is the case I'm curious to know about everyone else's experience in terminal overload with this one weapon.
