While thematically I still believe that the gunsmith should be where we do our weapon crafting, I think the foundry focusing is a step in the right direction. That being said I think the idea of a daily rotating foundry is antiquated as there are many foundries available to us with the Weapons team filling in the old lore based ones with no end to that in sight.
I propose instead of 2 days for each, why not just put all of them available per day. Your costs are steep enough with the difficulty of getting gunsmith engrams being what they are to begin with, and the inability to focus or roll with multiple perks per column, why go further and restrict a casual player's ability to roll for a given foundry to a specific day of the week? The World loot poll is massive and it makes sense to give us the ability to narrow down specifics, and I get the gunsmith is supposed to be a passive power bump but I think this is too limiting for a player that may only log in 1-2 times a week.

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 9/29/2023 3:26:38 PMIt feels too little too late. They drip feed even basic QoL at this point, implementing needless rotations and annoying costs. So we FINALLY get world weapon focusing in some capacity after all this time, yet dungeons STILL flounder being the only activity to lack both focusing and crafting after all this time. I’m so tired of the inconsistency of weapon roll chases in this game. There are zero reasons that benefit the players to exclude anything from the updated rewards mechanics that are focusing and/or crafting, and a lot of these changes should be blanket changes(enhancing adepts) instead of drip fed by activity or source over the course of literally years.
