Another Exotic Idea Because I Don't Know Why (Sidearm)
I'm not really sure what's come over me, but I guess I'll post this one too. Maybe Void, but I'm not totally sure of the element.
This is a full-auto rapid-fire frame exotic sidearm and the idea is that it's good for quick-action kill chains. If you get a kill with it, for a really short time after (like early days Rampage duration), you gain a buff that makes 1 bullet you shoot when TAPPING fire deal increased damage and it has slightly longer range (you can continue the normal bullet spray from that shot by holding down after pressing fire, but the bonus damage shot can only be used by releasing the fire trigger first, no holding down the use input or anything like that). Only 1 bonus damage shot can be stored at a time, but any kills with the sidearm, including with the bonus damage shot, can grant you another bonus damage shot back-to-back. This all happens within the same magazine. Reloading will immediately cancel the bonus damage shot.
I can also imagine Extended Mag on the gun and making it where if you deal damage with the bonus damage shot, your reload speed is increased for a short period of time.
That's basically it. Simpler than some other ideas.

2 RepliesSo, just so that way I understand it the way I do… When you get a kill with this weapon, you’re kind of playing one in the chamber? Except obviously you have a full mag that’s fully automatic? Also, if you are going to do Void, I’d feel there should be an effect that applies weaken somehow. But that’s just me. Otherwise, this seems like one of those ‘Arc Amplifying’ type of weapons. Decent idea though; am approve.
