So let me get this straight. Just to summarize. You have several jump types available to you in game. On demand. At any moment of your choosing. A button click away. And you’re standing in front of a gosh darn gap, and you just keep hopping in and dying. Now, in theory you could switch to a different jump to cross nasty Mr. Gap, and then immediately switch back to the one you like. But instead, you’ve decided to ask Bungie to rework your favorite jump? Specifically for you. Because you’re feeling inconvenienced. Even though that change would also affect all other players? And subsequently they would have to take time to adjust to your requested changes across their play-styles & game modes? Also you say you have been playing for several years. But after that period of time, you are as of yet still not fully aware of the efficiency and usability of different jumps across different game modes. Did I summarize this correctly?

Many activities lock your loadout. I've left a suggestion on a forum specifically designed for gameplay feedback. You don't have to like it. You can explain why you think it's a bad idea. This is a forum, after all. You seem personally offended by my comment, though, and have tried to insult me. That is amusing. Maybe rework wasn't the right word. I'm talking maybe one or two meters extra distance. Call it what you will.

  • Lol. Nah mate, it takes a special kind of person to request that others make changes for you, when you literally have all the tools and abilities you need to easily overcome the issue yourself. No need to be butthurt because I’m poking holes in your logic. Also, you know when an activity locks your loadout. It doesn’t unexpectedly happen. You can adjust accordingly. You can even bring Strand and a Grapple grenade, should you be hellbent on staying with Strafe jump.

  • I am curious as to what purpose you think the forum serves? How am I or the game developers, for that matter, supposed to know what the rest of the community thinks about an issue if giving feedback is considered offensive or self-centered?

  • A few years back, a Bungie employee stated that they weren’t interested in players ideas because “we are game developers, and we can come up with hundreds of ideas themselves” what they want from players is feedback on the state of play.

  • Offensive? No. You added that label yourself. Amusing. Yes, 100% Bungie doesn’t actively read the forums. Mainly because they’re a hotbed of trolling, hostility and rage. Easy fixes to minor issues that have been requested by tons of players for literal years, have gone unnoticed and unheard. Surely in your years playing Destiny, you’ve heard of the “We are listening” Bungie meme? To be honest, instead of realizing and accepting that you literally possess the solution(s) to overcome your problem, you seem to fixate on the fact that someone deconstructed your argument. Kinda seems like you are your own obstacle in this situation mate
