This is why I'm always against quest raid exotics. Bungie has a habit of doing something that makes them incredibly frustrating and grindy. At least with rng exotics I can just jump into the final check points and get my 3 weekly clears instead of being forced to farm the whole raid every week

What was the grind for div btw ? Litteraly takes 1 raid to get it x)
-
For divinity, it really came down to your team. It took me 7 tries to get it and made me develop a deep hate for the raid. Legend of Acrius required something like 10-15 clears unless you farmed the opening encounter. Plus a lot of random steps. D1 outbreak required a lot of steps, 3 clears plus solving complex math problems, and you had to have 1 of each class and split up into groups of 3.

You aren't forced to do anything.

And to be fair it's for an only slightly better version of Eidolon Ally. At least for Eidolon Ally you can get the thrall explosion off body shots not just headshots. Only thing your missing is the rpm buff, and damage increase for it being exotic. However, Eidolon doesn't take up an exotic slot... I think they really need to do more with Necro, especially with the catalyst.

Looks like when I evolve my Husk, it's going to stay as an Eidolon, it seems whoever programmed Eidolon and Necro's abilities did it backwards. It's sad cause it makes you want to keep the Legendary Version and give the Exotic one a good ole' middle finger. -

Other than that it has nothing else to it, Ally has the orgin perk for raid weapons and legendary perks which gives it more than necrocasm Thats just my opinion, they -blam!- up making the raid orgin perk necrocasms perk
-
Exactly! Ever raid weapon is just a variation of Necrocasm itself, which really ruins the novelty of it...
