I have 6 oversoul essence and I only play on my Warlock….
If you are playing 3 classes and doing challenges, then you will probably be done in two weeks tops.

haha hardly. I have necro and am working on the catalyst. You need 35 for that. I run 3 characters and I have 12/35 currently. Half or more of those came from 1 time only triumphs. The other 4 or 5 came from 5 full clears. It's going to take forever. Farming ir ut over and over isn't my idea of fun. When people resort to that kind of thing to get something done, it's bad game design. Same as farming kills at shuro chi for catalysts or weapon levels.

Nope. I run 3 characters and only have 9 after like 14 completions. This sucks big time.

Lets just say you have perfect RNG. that's still 35 (I'm working on the catalyst, and for who knows what reason you start at 0 for catalyst instead of 20/35) ir yut clears. I promise you, the drop rate is low enough that you'll probably be at 100 ir yuts in no time and still working on it. That's terrible.

Ever think about hitting the breaks? There are still a bunch of red borders left to get from the raid along with the adept weapons. Also 100 ir yut runs is like 1.5-3 hours. Spread that across the rest of the season a even 6 hours of doing extra ir yut runs is a small drop in the bucket.

Guaranteed 2 a week per account. Abyss and Crota. That's it.

That's it.[/quote] So, I’m already up to 6 on 2 completions. 10 weeks if you are terribly unlucky, don’t play multiple classes, and don’t complete challenges i.e casual like me… If you are the doing challenges and playing multiple classes, then it’s probably much less time. Probably still around two weeks….

You are insanely lucky then. Just watched a YouTuber that efficiently grinded Ir Yut for 10 hours straight,( one damage phase each) and got 2 essence...

You have had incredibly good rng. I have 12. like 7 of those came from 1 time only triumphs. the other 5 came from 5 full clears and one of those clears i got none. Just happened to get 2 in another clear.

I think so, everyone on my team seemed to get one from Abyss and Crota after the weekly reset
