You: So Bungie is totally in the right, having a character have a voice line saying "even in Crucible", (which is totally not misleading at all 🙄.) The player should have double checked the quest description before they started because assuming what the quest giver said out loud was obviously a foolish mistake and only have themselves to blame. I can't believe they would ever make this thread complaining about this. I love the taste of Bungies 💩

Edited by PseudoSolar: 8/30/2023 6:13:34 PMThis is SUCH a reach lol. It’s not even remotely implied that you should jump into crucible. When someone says the word “poop” do you immediately drop a log in your pants? Come on! You haters will find literally anything to complain about. Edit: I forgot to mention that reading a quest step is a *bare minimum* expectation. It takes like 3 seconds to go into your menu and figure it out.

We are talking about dialogue in a videogame, and you bring up a real life situation. If anyone is reaching, it's you. You have an idiotic point of view and are now trying to defend it with even more stupidity. You'd prefer to mock the OP for interpreting "I can get tithes from your crucible kills" as "well, you shouldn't take that literally." Instead of acknowledging that the line can be misleading, on top of the fact that their is no good reason why we don't have the choice to play crucible for progress. I expect nothing less from a bungie fanboy

Wait a sec, I’m stupid because I have basic language comprehension skills and actually read instructions? Am I living in the world of Idiocracy? You and OP have the awareness of an amoeba and are mad about it.

Language comprehension skills. So the words "even in crucible" translate to what, exactly, in that brilliant head of yours? If you say anything other than "well she's saying killing players in the crucible count towards tithes" then yes, you are every bit as stupid as I said you are.

It’s in a story cutscene, used to convey how she gains power. If it were an actual objective, it would show up as an objective.

Doesn't matter. It was said out loud. That line shouldn't be in the game because, as of right now, it's a lie. Why are you even arguing in defense of this when you know it can be construed as something achievable in pvp?
