The best part is that they claim Stasis is supposed to be the best for locking down mobs, but thanks to how Shatter works, it's one of the worst for it and just becomes a different flavor of Volatile. Blind has always been better than Stasis, and Suspend was better than Blind. Unfortunately, there's still no other viable PvE Hunter Strand build for group content even after the Suspend nerfs. You can try and get cute with Assassin's Cowl, but other subclasses use that exotic better and Void is just flatly better at the invis game in general.

 • I agree and disagree. Blind is great. Easy Redbar/Major CC, but it tends to have a small radius, and has no effect on Champs/mini bosses and above. Unless it’s a forbearance+fragment/Queen breaker it’s hard to mass produce like stasis. Blinding GL’s also aren’t as hot as they used to be unfortunately. Stasis is IMO, the best legit CC class. What makes it that way is the choice you have when you CC a enemy that isn’t a Boss equivalent. You can freeze and instant shatter for a brief CC period and light damage. Or you can wait the 7 seconds and grab a revive, re-position etc. It gives options to the user on how the scenerio will play out, especially in higher end content. Stasis also excels in cycling your abilities very quickly on its own. Each grenade/melee/fragment play into each other to generate more energy for something else. Looping your freeze is very easy. Blind can still loop and allow repositioning etc, but unless you’re a warlock with a Arc special+fragment+(insert exotic) or a punchy hunter it’s not as available or easy to produce on demand. Suspend, while probably nerfed a bit to much had the best of what blind/Stasis offered combined. You had 8+ seconds to lay into almost any target for free without any consequences. Blind had the drawback of not working on higher tiered enemies, and was hard to mass produce, and stasis had the drawback of not being able to lay into one frozen target without them breaking free. They all have their advantages. Suspend could probably see a extra second on base and maybe another 1 second for the fragment, but it encroaches too hard on blind and freeze for anything else to happen.

 • Grapple with the grapple exotic is pretty good. I used to run it with the dive, but since it got nerfed, i switched to the beyblade. Its pretty fun and still works pretty well. For champs though there arent many options left. I feel like Bungie should have made a difference of what the source is of the suspend. Shackle grenades were too strong, but the aspects were fine imo.
