Vex Strike Force Rewards Not Working Right
Vex Strike Force event is supposed to give the new exotics, no? It's worked that way for me since it came out (I have all but the newest), but today I got a Khepri's Sting instead of the Mothkeeper's.
I did a quick search online, and the last time this happened, a few months ago, they fixed it somewhat quickly, but alas, it's apparently happening again.
Bungie! Please, if nothing else, be consistent! When you fix stuff, it should stay fixed!

8 RepliesCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that the Vex Strike Force or Lost Sectors have ever been guaranteed to give you new items. They're definitely very heavily weighted to do so, but not 100%.

Its not guaranteed to give you new exotics. It gives you exotics you dont have

1 ReplyI ran the lost sector yesterday on all three characters and got all three new exotics. Not waiting a year picking my nose waiting on that vex event. And then to not even get the new exotic. That sucks.

I did the Vex strike force on Wednesday on my hunter and got the new exotic gauntlets, but today on my titan, I just did another and got an exotic that I already had the peregrine greaves. I have all the armor exotics for all three characters, but the two new ones for the titan and the warlock. I hope this is a problem that is easily fixed.

yeah I'm not sure. seems like a bug unless we're missing something. Haven't had this issue myself. I did 1 strike force on each character earlier this week to get all the new exotics. But to be fair, there seems to be alot of really random issues this season so idk
