I know how hard it can be to have a community as active and voracious as ours, but start thinking more creatively. Ive seen many areas in seasonal and story missions that would make amazing crucible maps, and it wouldnt take up more space since they are already in the game. You did this with D1, and while i hate the D1 was better trend, I dont see why you cant do it here. The UAZ is a great example of wasting creativity, its huge and has lots of nooks and crannies, but we hardly see any of it in solstice. Make a huge 16 person free for all game mode on that map with radar disabled, bring back combined arms in the seraph launch site. After The Final Shape, i think you need to take a HUGE breather, stop focusing on season content so much and yearly DLCs that burn out in a month or two, make a HUGE DLC that takes years, and can last awhile like TTK or Rise of Iron, with events sprinkled in and some seasonal stuff throughout. stop with the constant small additions, its better to release alot at once than a little all the time, people will get less bored an less mad. Think outside the box. Use what you have, theres great maps for Gambit and PVP just lying there in story missions, patrols and seasonal missions that aren't being used. Take the time to focus on one thing at once and make it good, then move onto the next thing. Solve the problems, dont put a band aid on a broken leg and come back a year later with another one. in the words of Ron Swanson, dont half -blam!- two things, whole -blam!- one thing. You arent half assing two things, you are trying to do everything at once, and failing at it. Take the hint, people can wait, so long as its worth it. Whole -blam!- one thing at a time, Focus on making a huge PVP drop, find sections of game to use as maps. then move on, work the problems. Its okay to take it bit by bit, thats how progress works. For the community, please take the poll above and give your own feedback

  • The problem with this whole concept, and its not a new one, is that Bungie's concept of fixing things versus our's are VASTLY different. Frankly after the last couple of years I fear the results would just upset all of us even more then we can imagine. Strangely when we had issues during the D1 days, they did fix and improve things! My only hope is the final year for D2 (story wise and probably playing wise for most of us) will be as well done, actually better really, then the last year of D1. We got lots of cool things that last year, best armors and shaders in the entire franchise, but I'd prefer new content (wait did that come from the one that misses his old content) instead of beefed up redos. But at least they were great ones! But from info for SOTG I can no believe they will fix anything based on players expectations. I also do not disagree that adding new maps, ect is hard. They are working with an ancient set of dev tools which suck up time, effort and energy in more ways then most can understand. WHAT I WOULD WAIT FOR - is a year off for Bungie to switch dev tools to a new, modern and vastly more powerful pipeline. But having been down that road for a the top (back in the day) CG application 1 year would not be enough to bring devs up to speed, prot assest over, recomp them, plug the pipeline into a REAL sandbox testbed (something Bungie really does dehydrated piss poorly to begin with) and feed it all into the player servers with monitoring, chat, LFG like services, API exposure and other tools plugged in as well. Yeah sorry 1 year just would not be enough.
