So, I've recently come across an issue with Destiny 2 on Steam. Early in the week of 31Jun I was playing D2 trying to do the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. A day or two later I try to log in to do bounties but the game crashed. Since then, I have been trying to launch the game, but it spends a few minutes verifying content in the launch screen and then tells me that I need to redownload the game due to corrupted data and gives me a BEAGLE error code.
My current setup:
Laptop that runs D2 but not enough disk space for direct to computer download
2 external hard drives I can use and holds D2 just fine
No access to router/modem (traveling and at hotel)
Troubleshooting steps I've tried:
Verified the files for game
Redownloaded game
Changed hard drives used (moved files and redownloaded directly)
Restarted computer
Deleted and recreated app data for game
At this rate I don't think that it is data corruption from downloading/updating the game, but I haven't ruled it out yet. Don't know what else to be done but if there is anything else I can try please let me know.
Edit: Issue resolved. Issue may have originated in the temp data files (can be found by entering %temp% into the run window (windows button + R key) labeled "Destiny 2"). Thank you EckyThump for the assistance.

Hey there, could you try the following?
Press the Windows Key and R key together, write %TEMP% and hit Enter, a folder will open with other subfolders, look for the one named Destiny 2 and rename it (something like Destiny_2_backup for example) and relaunch the game
