Does anyone know if the Treasure Laden Combatant spawn rate for Salvages has been patched??
If not, Bungie, please acknowledge this in a TWID and either improve the spawn rate or remove the triumph altogether before season's end.
These RNG based triumphs, including a lot of the fishing ones, are mostly executed very poorly and a nightmare for completionists. The Ruffians from Season of Plunder made that clear, and yet you keep bringing these triumphs into the game!
There has to be some sort of transparency with bad luck protection or a visible mechanic that shows the player that they are inching closer to their goal. Players need their time to feel respected. Especially when grinding for triumphs/items that are limited to a season or event.
I know this may seem like a massive whinge about something seemingly insignificant, but I assure you that the small percentage of completionists such as myself are some of, if not, the most dedicated audience the game has. And I don't think it's a lot to ask for our time to be shown a little more respect.
50-60+ Salvage runs with one Treasure Laden Combatant is not cool.

UPDATE - I spent most of yesterday on and off just farming Salvages. I must have done about 30 runs where I just farmed the first two encounters but got nothing. Tonight, I did two runs and, by some miracle, had one spawn during each run back to back. Don't know if there was some sort of overnight mini ptach (highly doubt it), but considering their spawn rate, the chances of that happening would have been insane. Triumph is now complete, so I'm relieved. Overall, this was around 90 runs just to get four of them! Makes me sick to think some people actually did 180+ runs to get twelve before they patched it and reduced it to four. I'm pretty dedicated when it comes to clearing triumphs. I genuinely enjoy ticking those boxes; it's simply how I, and a relatively few others, like to enjoy the game and get our money's worth. I don't expect everyone to understand. I have almost every triumph in the game except for a few legacy triumphs from many seasons ago and two flawless raids I've yet to attempt. This one really tested my patience, that's for sure. GGs, Bungie. Please, never again.
