Midexial Vex - My idea for a new Vex species.
So I've had this idea for a while and I actually got Chat Gpt to help me out with this idea but anyway, I've come up with a new Vex species called the Midexial Vex.
They are named after Midas because of their gold armour plating. Instead of a normal vex head they have two gold plates that hold a single vex eye in between the two.
Lore:
Only five have ever been seen but information recovered from one shows that they were experimenting with replacing their singular eye with a ghost shell to obtain the light.
That's the main part of my idea but I have other lore and ideas for them that I will discuss if you guys want.

Good idea but I feel it’s need a lot of lore justification seeing as stimulating the light is the vexs major weakness

2 RepliesThat'd be cool to see. Almost like Lucent Hive but for vex. And especially after one of the devs hinted at the Vex playing a bigger role after the final shape, We could potentially see them experimenting and successfully simulating the light. And to add to your new faction of Midexial Vex, perhaps we could also see inspiration taken from the whole "biblically accurate angel" stuff. This could come in the form of a new elite unit of lightbearer vex that harnesses simulated light that has the appearance of a biblically accurate angel with all the rings floating around it. Perhaps it could act similar to a servitor but a vex version where it can guard other units with its simulated light. Maybe it can even come back to life if it's not finished off.

But regardless, it’s far too barebones, underdeveloped and doesn’t actually make any sense. If the Vex were to get their hands on a Ghost shell, it would be worthless. They’re just Lightless husks incapable of anything except containing logs.

While Golden Vex aren't an [i]entirely[/i] new idea, it would be cool to see some have lore significance.
