Past pinnacle weapons to possible exotics
The past pinnacle weapons that we the community grinded for in forsaken and shadowkeep could possibly become exotics for playlist activities. When they were released they were supposed to toe the line of legendaries and exotics so why not go full exotic? Possible catalysts could simply be an enchanced version of their origin perks. Some crucible weapons would be split between comp and trials.

Loaded Question, Wendigo, and Randy's Throwing Knife, for example, were reissued into their respective playlists already while also retaining their original perks in their perk pools. We also have weapons like the Messenger which replaced Redrix. I would imagine old pinnacles, such as Recluse and Mountaintop for example, to be reissued into comp exclusive weapons if they aren't outright replaced.
