Subclasses
Strand
1. Strand seams to struggle maintaining a cyclical and even just simple ability regeneration while in combat comparatively to the light subclasses. I would like to see better armor mod synergy (as many of the non-armor charged mods are dependent on damage, but strand is heavy on utility and grenades often struggle to get the kill)
2. Tangles don’t really feel like they do enough damage or have enough utility. I think it would be better if thread of fury was base kit for tangles and that the fragment was reworked.
3. I understand why you might be hesitant but threadling also struggle to have importance or utility beyond Broodweaver, I think if 3 or more threadlings hit a barrier or or overload it should stun them, this would help the threadling grenade find a niche.
4. Broodweaver’s The Wander aspect lacks meaningful utility because the tangle cooldown is egregious and fails to improve the tangle in any meaningful way beyond suspending targets, which mindspun invocation already does quite efficiently. Although the concept behind the aspect has potential, its execution needs work I would start by decreasing its tangle cooldown and an increase in damage.
5. Strand is entirely dependent on woven mail for defensive utility and if you’re not Titan, the hunters with their strand exotic or using the navigator it can be difficult to maintain and obtain. I would like to see additional ways of obtaining it or an additional defensive verb for the subclass.
6. In the lore surrounding strand you mentioned heightened senses and an improved ability to detect living things, I think it would be cool if it was something like amplified and and enabled true-sight and maybe a similar screen notification to a frozen target but with whats in your radar.
Stasis
1. After light 3.0 stasis feels stale and often lacks utility beyond shadebinder in the PVE meta nowadays.
2. I think stasis would benefit from some slight buffs to what it currently has and new possibilities in its kit in the form of supers, melees and even grenades.
3. Glacial harvest could use some better ways to access it or simply have more advantageous options to build into in the form of fragments.
Arc
1. Feels significantly better since the 3.0 reworks
2. Arc still struggles to maintain defensive capabilities especially in instances when the arena is open with little cover, or enemies have a habit of spawning in multiple directions, I think it would benefit tremendously from a new verb or a buff to some of its existing fragments.
Void
1. Is in amazing shape and needs minimal work
2. I would like to see a new melee for voidwalker as pocket singularity is now easily outclassed by destabilizing rounds.
3. Nova bomb still needs a better niche identity as its starting to lag behind Chaos Reach, needle storm, staff throw, and shadow shot.
Solar
1. For the sake of sanity NERF Well of Radiance or add competition, it corners the entire games meta and it’s annoying that’s all that is expected of warlocks and frankly I find it un enjoyable and boring.
General
1. Just give stormcaller and Broodweaver blink it has little to no effect on the meta in the long term and would make a small portion of your player base very happy
2. Consider reevaluating the super DPS meta in some areas or at bare minimum I would like to hear why you have it the way you do. (For example: why does blade barrage do more damage than golden gun from a logical standpoint)
3. Now that Arc and Strand have unique movement options, I think Solar, Stasis, and Void could benefit from similar intrinsic and unique movement capabilities.
4. Please increase salvage enemy density, it’s not large enough to justify 6 players or a small enough arena for it either.
5. I was disappointed that neither Mars or Titan returned as a patrolable location; even if it was only for the year of witch Queen or lightfall.
6. Please consider updating your servers and a season of health for the game. As it is deteriorating quite obviously and needs some attention to enable the continuation of the game in good health.
7. The writing for witch Queen and its seasons was some of the best and you should be proud of Risen through serph.
8. Finally, if you’re going to kill off a character in the future please do a little better; Amanda’s death felt hollow and pointless and she deserved better than the way it was executed. (Although honestly it felt like you rewrote the entirety of lightfall and defiance probably some point during haunted; if that was the case please just be honest and tell the community to expect delays because we know you can do better and would be willing to wait for something of better quality.)
Notes: I admit I have bias towards Warlocks, because that is what I main and therefore is what I am most apt to give feedback for.

Great feedback.... Unfortunately bungie rarely if ever pays attention to their own forum. Last time I remember that anyone from bungie ( not ninjas, not mentors) said something here was before LF to do some promos.

Edited by Sunburn Seastar: 6/11/2023 6:53:11 AMI also wrote some concepts for my suggestions for subclass buffs and changes. Stasis Grenades: - Icicle grenade: summon a field of icicles above your opponent’s heads and have it rain down for damage (maybe apply slow, or have small stasis crystals appear alongside the damage, works similar to storm grenades) - Frostbite grenade: throw a grenade that attaches to your enemies and dedonates after a small period of time or when in proximity to non attached opponent, leaving your primary target frozen and releasing a blast that slows any opponents around them. - Squall grenade: summon a medium sized squall at a target location, this grenade draws in opponents into its eye trapping them while passing through to the eye your opponents are applied stacks of slow that if resisted against could leave your opponents frozen. Verbs: Avalanche Rounds (buff) - Kills instantly freeze all opponents in area around kill - Shattering stasis crystals also freeze opponents in area of shatter - Shooting a frozen target or crystal instantly shatters it. Strand Verbs: Stitched (buff) - Instantly heal to full health - While stitched you are unable to heal in any other way, including recovery - naturally expires after 6 seconds, adding an additional 4 seconds till expiration after each application - Stitch can heal you 2 additional times; healing for 1/2 the health you initially recovered the 2nd time and 1/4 the health you initially recovered the 3 time (shows up as stacks in hud) - While stitched damage taken is reduced by 1/3 of woven mails potency stacking for each stack of stitched, becoming woven mail on 3rd use (PVE only) - When damaged back to original health state your stitching is undone - If stitched naturally expires prior to return to original health state you return to said health state and can heal organically again - Has a cooldown of 3 seconds before it can be applied again between stacks and after natural expiration and a 10 second timer if undone - Possible ways of obtaining, a class ability with 3 charges, a fragment or aspect One with the weave (intrinsic to subclass/buff) - while active you have truesight, receive visual proximity notification powerful enemies that are within your radar detection range but not in your FoV this also grants improved hip firing target acquisition. - Using a scope to fire your weapons or taking critical damage causes this buff to end early - Each class has a different activation for this buff, however all classes can prolong the buff by, dealing damage with tangles, casting and getting kills with their super and killing powerful enemies. * Hunters: one with the weave becomes active when grappling, being airborne for a prolonged period of time, or using ensnaring slam. Using dodge, grappling and killing severed enemies also prolongs this buff * Titan: one with the weave becomes active when you get a powered melee kill or obtain woven mail. Killing suspended targets and any type of melee kill extends one with the weaves duration. * Warlock: one with the weave becomes active when you recover health in anyway or preform a kill while empowered. Killing unraveled targets or dealing damage with a threadling extends one with the weave. - This buff is active for 7 seconds, and upon expiration has a 10 second cool down before it can be reactivated. Void Melee: Warlock - Phase shift: you step between realities for a single moment and re-emerge a small distance away, when you emerge you emit a wave of weakening energy and a small amount of damage knocking your enemies back. Holding the melee button allows you to phase farther and see your approximate point of emergence. Holding the button expends melee energy and if it runs out this ability fails. Titan - Shield Sled: Stand atop your shield and skate across terrain and ricochet dealing high damage to opponents. Hunter - Archer’s Arch: quickly draw your Void bow and release an arrow that pulls opponents in the same direction for a short period of time and can pierce through 3 opponents inflicting a medium amount of void damage and detonates at the end of its range or after peircing 3 opponents, this blast inflicts volatile on all opponents in blast radius. Verbs: Buoyant (debuff) - Slows your & enemies descent after falling - Being struck by a melee, high velocity projectile, or explosive damage launches the opponent in the opposite direction from which the force was applied - While buoyant you lift and glide last longer, blink and jump receive an extra charge - Is inflicted by: pocket singularity, cataclysm, Axiom Bolt, shield throw, tractor cannon and the manticore (user only) - Strong against unstoppable Arc Verbs: Shorted/Shock (debuff) - In PVE enemy fire is greatly reduced - Slowed movement speed and greatly reduced jump/glide/strife - Decreased grenade throw distance - Cancels all ability regeneration, except supers, prevents special abilities in PVE opponents - Strong against overload Solar Verbs: Cauterize (debuff) - Prevents any form of health regeneration - Prevents the application of any overshield or elemental armor - Reduces opponents resilience by 25% - Increases the amount and rate that scorch is applied - Extends duration of stun after ignition. - Strong against barrier Extra In my feedback I talked about how well of radiance needs nerfed or at least a competitive option to challenge it’s thrown, and although I stand by my that it does in fact need a nerf or rework I created a concept for a Titan bubble exotic that might help: (Gauntlets) Pauldron’s of the looking glass: Bubble is reflective (still takes damage and can dissipate though) against all in coming projectiles. Additionally, casting barricade while in the bubble creates a window that can be shot out of.
