Honestly it's kind of unnecessary that you need 3 players to interact with the taken blight in order to earn tier 5 rewards. All the players I come across will ignore you and just continue with the activity. This should be adjusted so that only one player interacts with the blight. If the fireteam fails the challenge, then no tier 5 gear. But needing two other randos to interact with the point (given that there's no indication outside of content creator guides that additional gear can be earned) is just kind of an exhausting requirement for better rewards.
