Proposal for Scheduled-Rotation-Based PvP in Destiny 2
Hello Bungie Team and fellow Guardians,
As a dedicated Destiny 2 player, I appreciate the continuous efforts to improve our shared gaming experience. Today, I'd like to discuss the current structure of the Crucible and propose a potential enhancement.
At present, different PvP modes in some playlists are bundled together, rotating on what appears to be an RNG-based system. This lack of predictability can, at times, hamper our enjoyment - especially for those of us who prefer specific modes over others.
Therefore, I propose we shift from an RNG-based rotation to a "Scheduled Rotation" system. Under this structure, we would have publicly viewable "time slots" wherein certain modes are more likely to be selected.
This setup would offer multiple benefits:
1. It would allow Guardians who prefer specific modes to plan their play sessions accordingly.
2. It would prevent mode cannibalization, ensuring a more even distribution of modes over time.
3. It would maintain variety and unpredictability, as the exact lineup would still change.
I believe this adjustment would make the Crucible a more enjoyable experience for a wide range of players, giving everyone the chance to shine in their preferred mode.
Thank you for considering this proposal. I look forward to hearing the community's thoughts and hopefully seeing positive changes in our future Crucible matches.
Best regards,
