Do you think “community artists” play the game?
I don’t care and it’s not at all important, but I just think it’s funny when I see artwork of a thunder crash Titan with Saint’s helm or a cool mock up of Rohan. Not saying it’s all of them, there is definitely some real passion, but I honestly think that Bungie just pays people to make stuff half the time.

Guarantee there's at least one person out there who wears the Helm of Saint-14 at all times, regardless of subclass, entirely because they like the aesthetic.

Sometimes artists go for what is more aesthetically pleasing instead of what would make sense in the game… Aesthetics are the META of the art world. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

bungi used to play their own games. I couldn’t imagine them playing now with how boring and no-life their game is these days.
