Originally during Covid, I started Destiny 2 on a family account (Xbox) while holed up inside. Upon the loosening of the restrictions I pulled my Playstation 4 out of retirement and linked the Xbox account in Cross-Save to continue playing Destiny 2 on my own. Recently (last week), I purchased an Xbox S and eagerly purchased Lightfall (as I know I am no longer using the family account) and the other expansions. I then looked up how to change my primary account (Xbox) to my new personal Xbox Account. After grappling with the 90 day delay I dug deeper and see that upon deactivation of my cross-save, it would limit me to just my family account on Xbox and I would never be able to transfer to my personal account. I do not want to continually use the family account and would like to change the primary console to Playstation while saving my account data. If there is any way to work with my situation, please let me know. I happily bought the expansions and cannot imagine that there is no way to utilize my new console for Destiny 2 without continuing to utilize the family account. I would be happy to work with an admin to show that I have access to all related and connected cross-save accounts. TLDR: Transfer of main account on Cross save from Xbox to another platform (PS4 or PC) while keeping the only associated characters with the account (Xbox). Or, changing the primary Xbox Account from the Family account to my Personal account while keeping progress and associated characters from the original account. I would happily wait the 90 days.
