Adept weapons need something to be special
So Crafted weapons have essentially overshadowed adept, even with what Bungie is trying to do with the new raid ones.
Way easier to get, sometimes way less time consuming and stats are almost 1 to 1 in things like imperial decree and astral horizon.
I think providing adept loot some special capabilities unique to them that cannot be adquired any other way might make this loot once again worth chasing, be it adding even better base stats or hidden archetype perks that are just for them.

3 RepliesThey can't. If Bungie release something legitimately strong that isn't just handed to you, that you genuinely have to try and grind for all it does is enrage the community. Even though things like lighthouse adepts and GM adepts are much much more casual friendly then they were when they were implemented, there's an extraordinarily high amount of players that will simultaneously not practice or try to take the time and improve to earn them. Instead they'll flock to anything that gives them a voice (this forum, Reddit, twitter typically) and scream endlessly about it until Bungie cave. Now I wanna make it clear that there are lots that won't act like that but the ones that do are the loudest
