I propose that Bungie should add additional Guardian Ranks beyond Rank 11 - Paragon, and these should include extraordinarily aspirational achievements, like solo flawlessing a Dungeon, completing weekly Raid challenges, completing a GM Nightfall without dying, and so on. And even more: why isn't Trials of Osiris or Competitive included in any of the challenges for Guardian Ranks? Surely going flawless at least once in Trials or reaching Ascendant ranking in Competitive would be an achievement for any high-ranking Guardian? There simply needs to be more to do for truly end-of-end-game players. There's an end-game, and then there's an even further end-game. Call it Rank 12 - Legendary. And maybe an additional Rank 13 called "Guardian of Guardians" for completing a Raid flawlessly and extra things in PvP beyond going flawless once in Trials.
Guardian Ranks are off to a rocky start, but they can be so much better, meaningful, rewarding, and holistic to a Guardian's entire Destiny 2 experience - not just end-game PvE. For players like me, completing a Master Raid and soloing a Dungeon is really not that difficult. There should be "super end-game" aspirational challenges like this that reward not only these additional ranks but perhaps ultra-exclusive, 1% of 1% cosmetics that players will truly desire and chase. Maybe something like extra animated Exotic shaders and emblems, flashy transmat effects, gorgeous armor ornaments, maybe even an exclusive permanent flashy Title that displays above your current equippable one, and so on. Lower ranks must also get exclusive cosmetics too, otherwise, nobody will care about them (which many currently don't for this very reason, among others).
